Visited this place for a weekday lunch since it was close to my office. I didn’t have any prior knowledge about it and just decided to walk in on the spot.On the positive side, it’s quite impressive that you can get a hearty lunch for just around 1,000 yen in the middle of the city. The portion size was generous, and the cost performance felt great. I ordered the pork ginger bowl, which was a bit on the greasy side but still quite tasty overall. The lady who worked there was very attentive and quick to notice when customers needed something, which gave the place a warm, local feel.However, there were a couple of downsides. Surprisingly, despite being lunchtime, the restaurant still allows smoking at all tables. For someone who prefers a smoke-free environment, that’s not ideal. Another inconvenience is that they only accept cash, which caught me off guard when I realized I had left my wallet at the office. Luckily, I managed to scrape together some coins I had tucked away in my phone case and made it through.Overall, the lunch itself was good and quite affordable, but because of the smoking policy and cash-only payment, I probably wouldn’t go back.
