We come here often, it was always okay. But things went wrong for us during New Year's Eve! The food was not good to eat, there was just no atmosphere, it was very stuffy, people were stuck on top of each other. unfair service, do you seriously think that people will take 1 bite per person? I have heard from people who came here last year that they did not get a starter because they were at the last table. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We were looking forward to the advertised ... Sat night Swing and Jive at Hi Life. Expecting to hear swing music and Jive music, but the dj said he doesn't play that type of music he just caters for everyone.Very misleading ad and disappointing for us, he did say well if you give me a list of songs I'll play some, but that wasn't great eitherPlus there was a birthday party booked just a few days ago they said so the dj said he had to cater to them 3 times during the everning the music was stopped for speeches by some one in the party , who was telling rude jokes and stories (kids there too)Felt like we'd gate crashed a private partyWhat a shambles but what a shame for us, we did join in with everyone to make the most of the eveBut we will be giving it a miss from now on

It is a bad thing when this happens, but a birthday party with 40 people is always welcomed.
