Looking for a quiet spot in Hithadhoo to satisfy your short eat cravings or grab a quick bite? HI Tea Hithadhoo offers a cozy, peaceful atmosphere with reasonable prices that match the value of what you get. While the menu has some absolute standouts, a few items missed the mark. Here is the breakdown of the hits and misses from our recent visit. The Short Eats (Hedhikaa). For the most part, the traditional short eats here are a major win. The Stars: The Masroshi, Havaadhuleebis, Cutlets, Biscutlets, and Keemiya were all fantastic: perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The Boakibaa was also a major highlight, boasting great texture and flavor. The Letdown: Skip the Bajiyaa. The pastry was overly hard and had a heavy, floury taste that masked the filling. Mains & Submarines. Submarine: Highly Recommended. It was incredibly tasty, packed with flavor, and easily one of the best things on the menu. Panino: Disappointing. The panini fell short; the filling felt quite empty, and the overall flavor was bland and uninspiring. Desserts & Baked Goods. Brownie and Cake: Great. Rich and delicious, making it a perfect sweet finish to your meal. Muffin Cake: Not Worth It. It completely lacked both flavor and the right texture. Definitely one to pass on. Value & Ambience. Atmosphere: A small, quiet, and peaceful little spot ideal for a low-key hangout or a relaxed bite to eat. Pricing: Very reasonable. The prices are fair and well-matched for the portion and quality you receive. The Verdict: Come for the Submarines, Boakibaa, and the majority of the short eats, but maybe skip the bakery cakes and panini. It’s a lovely, budget-friendly spot hidden away from the noise.
