Oh my goshhh it was delicious. The zucchini bread was amazing, the Wisconsin cheese soup was AMAZING, chicken salad AMAZING! I have been an avid and loyal patron of Hickory Street Cafe since its earliest existence. Their signature items are chicken salad and zucchini bread. Sadly, both of these have changed in recent months under the new ownership. Those who worked hard to make Hickory Street Cafe an Abilene landmark would be saddened to hear that their recipes were no longer the ones we have all enjoyed for so many years.
