Hidden Treasure Cafe in Johnshaven is a true gem! Situated right on the harbour front, it offers stunning views of the sea and a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious food. The cafe offers a variety of home-baked cakes, slices, breakfast rolls and coffee and tea. There are few seats for dining in, but with lovely views and benches aplenty on the harbour, take away is usually a good option. The menu also includes light meals such as filled rolls (bacon, egg etc), sandwiches, soup of the day, ice cream, and vegan options. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the cafe is spotlessly clean. Prices are also very reasonable. All in all, Hidden Treasure Cafe is an absolute must-visit if you're in Johnshaven - it's definitely worth the trip!

What a fantastic place this is! My family of 10 visited this morning and it was busy, but we were all very pleased with the service and the food/ drinks. My grand children enjoyed ice creams and I loved the coffee and walnut cake.
The Hidden Treasure Cafe is a hidden gem. I visited Johnshaven to see the old harbour and some of the small fishing boats. Parking is free and then you are free to roam. I was delighted to find the cafe and then to find it open. It had been a cold day so I was very happy to have lentil soup. I also had tea and a piece of cake all for less than £10. The lady owner told me they had only just been open for the year and they were quite busy.
