We had a great evening and amaaazing dinner at Hide Place! I had the chicken chop suey and my boyfriend the grilled calamari and both was sooo goood! The family was SO nice, especially the waiter. The place is super pretty and very romantic! We loooved that it's not right next to the main road where most tourists go. Choose this place for a great authentic experience and support this family instead of any other big businesses pls. Absolutely best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Amazing service by a lovely family. Great atmosphere, very good prices, everything so fresh!! The place is a bit off the main road and away from the hustle and bustle, so you don’t just stumble upon it by accident. You really need to come here on purpose, but it is 100% worth it. Family-run place where you can truly feel how much heart they put into everything they do. I recently visited Hide Place Restaurant in Mirissa and had an amazing experience — I ordered the chicken noodles with a passion fruit juice, and it was honestly the best noodles I’ve eaten in all of Mirissa, even after trying many other places. The flavor and quality were outstanding, and the service was exceptional, with the waiter being very attentive and carefully looking after all the customers. I really loved the calm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back, especially to try their special grilled barracuda. Highly recommended!
