You are to find good steaks, lasagna and chicken. The staff is appealing that's what makes this restaurant so nice. Fast service is something clients like here. It's a pleasant place with the cozy atmosphere. Google users are quite generous with High Altitude Kitchen: it was rated 4.3 stars.

The beef itself was tender, but it was completely unseasoned and lacked any flavor. On top of that, the steak was far too oily, making it overly rich and unpleasant to eat. The latte cost 300 birr, yet it didn't even come with latte art, which was disappointing for the price. Price per person: ETB 2,000+ Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

THE CAT PAYS RENT in this restaurant. Wow, where to begin we are at the hotel watching a film, I asked my wife if she is hungry she said no.. ten minutes passed and I ask again and she said no again, then I said well I am hungry and I went to the reception to ask for the food menu.. the lady said the restaurant is closed now but high altitude is open until 10pm, I rushed to the room and told my wife get dressed we only have 50 minutes until they close. We got dressed and luckily the place is a 7 minutes walk from our hotel. We reached the spot on arrival Reggea music filled the air “a remix of Sade Ordinary Love” was playing, Banana trees and herbs plots in the court yard and small rooms that makes up the entire venue and not to forget the magic shack on the right side where guests were sitting in enjoying few drinks with friends. We picked 2 comfy outdoor seat then the waitress arrived with the menu at a glance Tequilas and mojitos stood out to us as the perfect choice to build up a bigger appetite. Drinks took 10 mins, but the mojitos were strong and tequila was my wife’s first shot. The menus looked simple so I went for the steak with mash and my wife chose the mini burgers then I changed my mind and asked for the Perch fish with roasted vegetables. Few minutes pass the home made garlic bread arrived cute and tasty.. 25-30 minutes later the food arrived and it was the steak I was surprised as I cancelled the steak order as I order the fish then my wife said we will take that away. However, born with bigger eyes than my stomach I wanted to taste the steak before she wraps it away~~~~ and there the magic hit me. that bite was amazing like truly the best I have ever had in a very long time and trust me I have tasted many steaks on my travels, the meet was soft and succulent just how a medium steak should be and the paper sauce was as well perfect so there and then I decided that this steak is staying on the table and we ended being served everything we ordered. We went for the full high altitude experience.. then hear comes the fish which was very very good as well, the mini burgers were delicious my wife said, and the cat was happy to have enjoyed our company. Great food! Great vibes! I love this place! We come here all the time for lunch/dinner. This place is a hidden gem. High Altitude Kitchen is a must try if you in Addis. Then you try it again.. and again...
