I took a detour to go there this morning and the place was deserted... Looks like it is no longer operational. Thanks for your reply. I can change my review if you can change your opening hours on Google maps so that no-one else gets caught out like I did before you re-open in April.

A hidden gem in the countryside! Higher Farm is a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway with family or friends. The space is well laid out with plenty of seating, a relaxed open area, shaded zones, a playground for kids, and stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. The pizza was absolutely delicious – thin, crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, fresh basil, and perfectly baked edges. We paired it with some local lemonade and cider, which made it taste even better under the open sky. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was casual and relaxed. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big plus! You can really feel the heart behind this place – it’s a perfect mix of rustic charm and thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back – maybe next time for brunch or one of their evening events. Highly recommend to anyone looking to slow down, enjoy great food, and soak in some peace and nature.
