Great live music. A good sampling of popular and local beer. The food was pretty good. It's loud when the music is playing, so don't expect to have good conversation

Our last night in Inverness was rounded out by our experience at The Highlander Bar...the third of three nearby music venues on or near Church Street in the heart of Inverness. A fantastic singer was on stage sharing a variety of tunes from different eras. We tried the Fried Mars Bar for dessert which seems local a local "delicacy" as we saw it on the menu a bunch of places in town. It was definitely indulgent but the Mars Bar itself kind of got lost in the process or seemed to melt away in the frying. The staff was friendly and they've got a decent whisky selection too. Loved the cow art on the bathroom doors!
