クチコミは英語で投稿させていただきます I came here alone last January for lunch. I ordered a lunch 御膳 with two entree options of mackerel and chicken fillet (one entree would have been enough but I wanted to try different flavors that they offered on the menu). Everything was freshly deep fried and came with refreshing and delicately flavored plant-based sides such as salads and pickles. My favorite would be the chicken fillet; it was crunchy, juicy, and sweet. The presentation was visually pleasing and to be admired. The entire meal came with miso soup and savory tofu pudding to cleanse my palate. Tip before visiting: this place seems to be run by a family and staff may be low, so slightly slow wait time is to be expected. Although they have set business hours, they may turn you away long before closing time if you come with a large group as they need time for cleanup as well. It's always a good idea to confirm with the owner via phone before arriving; although I came without reservation I think it's better to make one before coming. I would definitely love to come back again and try dining for dinner. If you happen to pass by Kosai during your travels in Japan, make sure to pay a visit to Hiiragi
