Poodies is great. Lots of history all over the walls and fantastic hamburgers. I recommend the Poodie Burger with fries and a cold beer. Service is fast and friendly. Huge outdoor area as well and really great music all the time. This is definitely a place to go!! We had left the exotic animal park and needed a bite, so we just googled, and this came up. We got there about 1pm. When we pulled up we weren't sure if it was open. But we peeked in and there were a couple people in there and it's a bar, but read the history on it. We went in and ordered our meals and they were terrific. One of our group had dietary restrictions and they were great with it. This will now be my go-to place whenever I am in the area. Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse was such a surprise for a great girls night out to chat & enjoy some fantastic live music! This is a very cool variety venue. They’ve got hoopdies next to Maseratis in the parking lot and inside you’ll find locals, tourists, and old fashioned celebrations happening all around. We’re going to Poodies! (Belt it out with some Texas twang! It’s so much fun!) Go, enjoy, let loose. Price per person: $20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
