Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend eating here for a brunch or a morning meal. Loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. I purchased a steak sandwich and it was divine! As we walked our way across the street looking for a place to have lunch, we stumbled upon the Hippo Espresso. An establishment tucked away in the street, with great outdoor seating and high quality service. We ordered a works burger, bowl of chips, a chocolate cheese cake and a chicken, avo and cheese toasty. As well as a range of drinks including a coffee, milkshake and a thick shake. The food is amazing, with fresh ingredients, and quick service that made the experience that much more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially since we were new to the establishment and weren’t aware of the order process. Overall, the establishment accommodated for customer needs, with quick service followed by quality cuisine. I would recommend this place for anyone in the local area or travelling!
