We waited over an hour for three dishes that would have taken 10 minutes max from any other Chinese street food vendor. The oysters ended up being undercooked as they rushed to get it out. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I visited them when they first opened and was highly impressed by the dishes they offered. Today, they launched their bento box, and I couldn’t wait to try it. I ordered the braised pork with eggs, roasted ribs, and stir-fried green peppers—every dish was absolutely stunning. If you’re into authentic, homemade Chinese cuisine, Hippo Express is a must-try.
