This place is shuttered. The notice says they are now in Paramus, referring to the new Route 17 location next to BJ's, PetSmart and DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. Staples used to be where H-Mart is now. Feel bad for this section of Englewood where H-Mart used to be. That traffic circle really needed an H-mart to keep things pleasant.

Irresponsible and unprofessional conduct. I bought over $500 worth of groceries here and found out 3 out of the 4 cartons of milk was damaged and one was leaking and so I brought it back. The counter lady confronted me and accused me of mishandling my groceries. So I checked the other milk products in their shelves and found most of them were damaged. Do yourself a favor, stop shopping here. There is a reason why people like whole foods or Hannam chain. This HMART is an embarrassment. Note to your management: 1. Fire the night shift lady for giving customer who have spent over $500 worth of groceries and giving customers hrdtime when it's clearly HMARTs fault. 2. Clearly you guys DO NOT check the quality of your milk carton. I did checked this time when I went back to return the leaking cartons. All of the milk cartons in the back shelves of your store are ALL DAMAGED. I am extremely disappointed  at the way this was handled. Instead of apologizing I was put on the spot having to defend a damaged milk carton. === This is an update. Still no apologies from their management. It's time for health inspector to show up at this place. Probably will find something. May I suggest to the health inspectors - start with their milk aisle and their hot food section.

This is my local H Mart. I've been going for years, and I feel like each time I go there is some improvement. It has most of the traditional Korean foods that the other H Mart stores offer. There are several varieties of ramen and kimchi, including some that are made without weird additives, MSG, etc... They have a really good selection of produce, especially if you're looking for a wider selection of greens than what is typically offered at Shoprite or even Whole Foods. You can always find lotus root  and burdock here. If you're hungry for a quick snack, they have a little area where you can sit and eat prepared foods (soups, sushi, rice dishes). The tofu/kimchi jjigae is delicious, as well as the seaweed guk (seaweed soup in beef broth). My son likes to purchase sushi from the other small counter (near the fish section in store). Most of it seems very fresh. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. Try it if you haven't already--and don't tell me you don't like Korean food. There are plenty of other foods in the store. U can get most of your basics here (eggs, milk, juice...), though I think it is more fun to explore and try new foods!
