I was a kid when my dad would take our family to the hoagie hut on bank ln in Highwood. For years since they closed I’ve been very happy that this location has survived. I hope it’s around for the next 100 years. A Chicago CheeseSteak Hoagie with fries would be my last meal if I had to choose. Just perfection. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Recommended dishes: Bacon Hoagie

These people are so nasty. They were cleaning something off the floor when I walked in and no one washed their hands. The same woman that has handling the money and cleaning the floor had no gloves on as she grabbed the fries. I do not recommend this nasty place unless you want to throw up everything you want to eat.
