You will be served nicely cooked fried chicken, fried catfish and pork steaks. At this bar, you can order food as a takeout. A collection of delicious beer is recommended to guests. You will hardly forget great ice tea that you can find.
The success of Hobo’s At The Legion would be impossible without the cheerful staff. Terrific service is something visitors like here. In accordance with the guests' opinions, prices are fair. You will certainly appreciate the spectacular atmosphere and beautiful decor. This place scored 4.7 in the Google rating system.

It was my first time here so the food rating is only on the fried chicken. I got the "Cluck". The portions were great but the chicken was a little over cooked. This place is packed full so there must be other good food. You game to wait for your entire party to be seated because they can't waste time at the tables. Don't be surprised if you share a table with another party! It's not bad though. Everyone there is very nice. I will probably go back again some time to try something other than the fried chicken. Always support your local legions! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

We visited Hobo’s at the Legion for our second time. The atmosphere is fun and lighthearted with a bit of a saloon-style feel, but there’s enough activity to keep it interesting. While atmosphere matters, food is number one for me. I’m always on the lookout for some good-quality barbecue, Southern-style cooking, and especially deep-fried catfish when traveling. Took the whole family, including my parents, and we all ordered the catfish—big disappointment. The strips were extremely thin and narrow, with a coating that was way too tough, even hard to cut with a fork. Catfish is usually delicate, but this was the opposite. And of course, what’s catfish without hush puppies? Jalapeño hush puppies were on the menu, so we ordered a round for everyone. They were decent, but not great—felt undercooked. One thing that really stood out was how dark it was inside. The lighting was so low at our table that we had to use our phone flashlights just to read the menu. The place is definitely popular, but if you have a refined palate and are a foodie, this might not be for you. That being said, if you like the saloon-style atmosphere and are there for drinks and Southern-style fried food, it’s worth a try. Price per person: $100+ Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

At Hobo's at the Legion, we constantly strive to serve high-quality Southern-style dishes, and your input helps us in this process. However, we understand that it can be an issue for some guests, and we're working on a solution to improve it. We're glad you enjoyed the saloon-style atmosphere, and we hope you'll give us another chance to impress you with our food. We value your patronage and would love to welcome you and your family back soon. Sincerely, Hobo's At The Legion
