A 45 min light difficulty trek from the Tirolerhaus (1500 m) station that took us 1 hour because we stopped to enjoy the views, take photos and eat the in the wild. This place is a restaurant with accommodation. We didn't stay overnight but only had brunch and late lunch for our hike to Gatterl. Drinks that refreshed us: Radler, Bavarian beer, Weißbier, and Almdudler. Food that brought joy: Kaiserschmarrn, and Kaspressknödel (roasted cheese Knödel in Rindfleisch broth). Service was prompt and friendly. The open terrace eating section has beach chairs and play-cum-activity area for kids with swings, etc.
