Great Asian restaurant for whoever fancies Kobe steaks and wants to try exotic flavors. We ordered the following: 1. Salty Edamame: it’s nice, fresh and juicy 2. Hocho salad: very tasty and great 3. Bang bang shrimp: superb, it’s a must! Shrimp noodles: was one of my favorite dishes, super tasty and full of flavors, a must! 4. Kobe tacos: it was too small and it was the only dish that we didn’t enjoy at all, so avoid. 5. Crazy tempura: great and tastes super fresh 6. Chuck roll steak: it’s perfect! I would say their steaks is a must and it is the best I have tried Overall, the restaurant is great, fine dining, quiet, they make sure they don’t make it crowded so the quality of the food and the service level doesn’t drop so it shows great commitment from the management and owners. It looks normal, not super fancy but it’s very obvious that they care about the food quality as everything is fresh and tasty and their service is good. However, it’s super super expensive so for me, it’s good for special occasions specifically if you go for steaks (which is a must). I wish them all the best. Tip: the closest parking to it would be V7-V8 area in Via Riyadh parking, take the ticket with you so they validate it. Otherwise, you can go to St.Regis hotel and pay 150-200 sar for Valet parking (which is too much and not needed).. 10/10 place. Service by Gen was great, food is delicious, drinks are refreshing. i like the concept of japanese X saudi mix.. i recommend ordering kobe beef tacos it was my favorite. will comeback 100% Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had an exceptional dining experience at Hocho in Via Riyadh. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly curated. The ambiance is elegant, calm, and not noisy at all, making it ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Even the outdoor area is very clean and well-maintained. The service was truly amazing. The lady who served us was extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. Her attitude and professionalism added a very special touch to the overall experience. As for the food, it is honestly one of the best Japanese food experiences I’ve ever had. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and you can clearly see the quality and attention to detail. The highlight was definitely the Kobe Wagyu A5 — the quality was superb, and surprisingly, it was even better than what I’ve tried in Kobe and Tokyo. I’ve attached a photo of the bill with the dishes ordered and my personal ratings out of 5. Overall, Hocho delivers a complete fine dining experience with outstanding service, beautiful atmosphere, and top-tier food. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back.
