Perfect spot to refuel and find a hidden gem to eat. Rarely can you find a place that feels both familiar enough to picky eaters and with enough variety to also be a win for those looking to eat a meal that you can’t find at every stop. Hodag Bites is just that. Brats, Chicago dogs, a cheeseburger, samosas and cheese curds were all excellent. Service is also great. Staff went out of their way to make freshly made Indian tea- perfect for a rainy day (or any day). Whether you live nearby or are just passing through— highly recommend this as an all in one stop. Had the double Hodag burger, very yummy. Will have to try the monster next visit. Wifey had the BBQ burger and she loved the onion ring on the burger. Very nice touch. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Definitely not the same as the original. Scrolling the reviews indicates the current owners trying to cover themselves. Food is nothing like it was when it opened when the original owners opened.
