Pleasant winery experience. I enjoyed their 2024 Johanniter. The guy at the shop was really nice and took the time to explain their wines, and offered to taste some before buying. Even though we arrived just before closing, there was no rush felt which I appreciate. Inner yard was also very nice, too bad we were with a car and could not stay and enjoy it longer with a glass of wine. Would recommend!

In May 2026, I planned a trip to Dresden (Germany). Since I am a member of the Brazilian Association of Sommeliers – Brazil, I took the opportunity to explore winemaking in Saxony and visit some of its wineries, including Hoflößnitz Winery. After sending several emails to this winery, the visit was finally scheduled with Bianca Wunderwald for May 16th at 3:30 PM. I arrived there as planned. However, no one knew about the visit. I spoke with Mr. Felix Ludorf, who wasn’t aware of the visit, and he told me that Bianca wasn’t there and there was no one to show me around the winery that day. To me, this shows how this winery treats its customers. I rate the winery as terrible. In my opinion, they are not professional.

A wonderful place to sample wines overlooking the vineyard and city. Great flammakucken as well
