The Haldenhof is lucky to be in a prime location without any competition. That's why you can afford correspondingly cheeky prices. Salad plate for €8.90 very small portion. Breaded schnitzel with soggy breading for €19.80......I wouldn't eat there again. The view and location are of course great. Service ok. Food & drinks: There are better places to eat in the area Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

The food itself was ok. Average. But the prices are totally exorbitant. There is NO salad included in the main courses. You have to order the side salad separately for €4.50. Yes, we are here on Lake Constance, but the salad should simply be included in a €20 meal. I've never experienced anything like this before.
