Both Lavell Edwards stadium and Hokulia Shave Ice - Provo are recommended for visiting. Many guests say that waiters serve perfectly cooked vanilla ice cream, coconut ice cream and snow cones here. This confectionary restaurant is recommended for terrific employees. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. Attractive prices are what you will pay for your meal. Hokulia is by far the best tasting and best quality shaved ice I’ve had in the area, hence the 3 stars, but my last experience was quite disappointing. We arrived 10 minutes to closing, which can be understandably frustrating in the food service industry, but figured a snow cone would be speedy enough to make to not interfere with closing time. When we went to the window the employee was actively making a shaved ice. She handed it to the customer it belonged to and proceeded to look at us, two paying customers waiting to order, and state that she had just finished a large group and was closing. We politely asked if there was any way she could still serve us and she responded with a resounding NO. We walked back to our car and drove away at 9:52 where we saw the cover to the shack had been closed with throngs of people still outside enjoying their treats.

Took 15-20 minutes per shaved ice to come out. If you want to feed your family dessert in under 12 hours do not come here!!

That is unacceptable and will be sharing this feedback with our team to hold additional training to address this problem.
