Holly and Doug's Country Diner

Hi Thomas. I just called the diner to ask what was going on with the masks, the waitress assured me that they were wearing them as it is a rule from the CDC that we enforce. The spray bottle that they are using to spray and wipe down the tables are also CDC recommended and pretty strong as they are actually stripping the finish off our wooden tables. As far as people getting up to walk to other tables without their masks on, that's a hard one to control as they may be in the same group but have to be seated separately due to the number restriction we have at tables per the CDC. I can understand your frustration with this virus, we are living with that same frustration and doing everything in our power to keep our employees and customers safe so that we can stay in business. I understand your review and am not asking you to change it, just be aware that reviews like this one cancels out the 30+ amazing reviews we get, and for any small business in this scary time, it can devastating. Sorry to hear you won't be back, I will make sure to follow up with the staff and let them see this post. We will also put more signage up for walking to other tables if you aren't in the same group. I will also pray for all small businesses that this is over soon so we can all get back to our "normal" lives. I assure you though, we truly do get it, and we are truly doing our best.
