Ramen at Homare

This restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Nakain Temple. The hallmark of Homare is serving good char siu, miso ramen and misir. A lot of guests say that the staff is courteous at this place. Fine service is something that people note in their comments. The homey atmosphere will be a good addition to nice meals and great location of this place. But a number of visitors who use Google didn't give this spot a high rating.

Return visit after a long time. Probably about a year ago. When we first met, I happened to pass by the shop and without any prior information, I had the Dandan noodles that I was in the mood for at the time, but when I looked into it later, I found out that it is a shop that is famous for its miso ramen. This was on my revisit list because I couldn't stop trying miso ramen, but there's a reason why I missed it for a year. Actually, I don't really like miso ramen. You'll feel like you're eating a strong (salty) miso soup, or rather, wouldn't you hate it if there were noodles in your miso soup? lol I went to a few famous stores like Hanada-san, but to this day I haven't been able to get hooked on any of them. That's why you might wake up to the deliciousness of miso ramen today! I was heading home from work with high expectations, but contrary to my original plan, the closer I got to the restaurant, the more I tasted the Dandan noodles...I don't remember Homare-san's Dandan noodles, but they were delicious. Okay... And the dish I chose was Dandan noodles. I can't do this anymore lol Arrival of rice bowl! The scent of Japanese pepper whets the appetite. First, take a sip of the soup. Hmm, it's quite rich. I want rice. The base animal soup is quite strong. As a strain, it feels spicy and delicious. It's not very spicy, so I thought even people who like spicy food but aren't good at it can enjoy it. The sansho pepper doesn't come out that strongly considering its aroma. The balance of acidity was just right. Since they come from a Chinese restaurant, their ideas are interesting, such as the toppings sprinkled with cashew nuts. Personally, I'm really into cashew nuts. Also, there was a topping that looked like gelatinous fishmeal in some places, and although I wouldn't say it changed the taste, scooping it out and drinking the soup gave it a slightly different flavor and was fun. When I googled it, I saw someone else say shrimp miso or shrimp paste, so I wonder if that's what it is? The noodles are medium-thin and slightly hard-boiled. It might be easier to imagine if a niboshi-style ramen restaurant were to use this type of noodles and it would still be delicious. Thank you for the meal. PS: The aftertaste disappeared within 5 minutes after eating. It is often said that it has a ``spicy taste'', but for those who like spicy food, this may feel a little unsatisfactory.
