Very tasty, and inexpensive, soul food served quickly. Menu is different each day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly food options. Basic fast food dining area accommodates kids easily. Although, I'm not sure if they have booster seats.

This isn't called Home Plate Restaurant for nothing! If you're looking for a hardy, home cooked Southern meal like your grandma used to make, this is the place for you!I have not had a bad meal here yet. They have all your Southern home-settle favorites, fried pork chops, BBQ chicken, fried fish, meatloaf, country style steak, chicken dumplings, Brunswick stew, boneless ribs, the list goes on! That's only the main course, the sides include Mac& cheese, green beans, greens, corn, fried apples, cabbage, Navy beans, rice, and black eyed peas. Then there's dessert... Homemade cobblers (cherry, apple), banana pudding, and more.Since this is just like grandma made, the portion sizes are filling enough with leftovers to take home.You won't be disappointed here.Can't wait to go back!
