I made a quick stop at this bakery/restaurant while en route to Medicine Hat. I had read some reviews a few days earlier and wanted to try their brisket. It was amazing! I wish I lived two hours closer so I could visit regularly. I also enjoyed the cookie that I picked up for dessert on my way out. A lovely lunch spot for anyone travelling along the Trans-Canada Highway! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Not much to look at from the outside, but there's a big car park. Spacious inside dining area with strictly functional furniture. The menu wasn't very familiar to me, being a Brit, but my choice of sausage and chips with a small spicy salad was quite delicious. Service was prompt and the price reasonable. Recommended place for a quick meal when passing through Brooks. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
