We were passing through and really wanted a healthy meal with vegetables, so came to Homesteader 2. The prices were ridiculous. A chicken strip dinner was around $24. The three of us finally opted for the salad bar, which was $13. I expected a decent salad bar for this price, but this is what it consisted of: iceberg lettuce, 4 salad dressings, cucumbers, carrots, celery, boiled eggs (seemed fresh, but tasted off, so couldn’t eat them), cottage cheese, 2 pasta salads, and canned chocolate pudding. We should have left and gone somewhere else, but there wasn’t a lot to choose from. The only reason I gave the restaurant two stars is because it was at least clean—although, it’s pretty easy to keep a place clean when there aren’t any customers...
