I tried the Hanwoo shabu soba, uni steamed egg, and isobe maki, and the flavors were definitely excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the broth was clean, and every bite was satisfying. The portions, however, weren’t very big, so it felt more like enjoying an appetizer, while the price was closer to a main dish, which might feel a bit lacking if you’re looking for value. I always enjoy the dining experience at Homuran. No-frills, simple, high quality Japanese food done right. All the rolls are excellent (especially sweet shrimp and uni), the service is attentive, and the ambiance is relaxing.
