What an absolute gem! We found Honeysuckle Inn by chance while driving back to Melbourne from Mt Buller, and it ended up being the best accommodation of our entire trip. The place is full of character and history, with a beautiful old-fashioned charm that you just don't find very often anymore. It feels cosy, authentic and incredibly welcoming from the moment you walk in. We were lucky enough to arrive on a night when the owners' family were celebrating a birthday, and they couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic – warm, relaxed and full of genuine country hospitality. It made us feel more like guests than customers. After a long day on the road, being able to enjoy a bath with the sea salts provided was the perfect way to unwind. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay even more memorable. If you're travelling through the area, do yourself a favour and stay here. Honeysuckle Inn is a special place with wonderful hosts, plenty of history, and a real sense of heart and soul. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back if we're passing through again. Service: 5

We had a 1 night stay at the Honeysuckle inn. It was a lovely place to stay, the room was beautiful, clean, very comfortable. A lot of thought and care has gone into this place. Amazing work to the owners, 5 stars!

Beautifully renovated inn with classic heritage features and modern rooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable providing a great night’s sleep. Violet Town is a friendly sweet place to visit and walk around. Neil and Leonie are wonderful and interesting hosts. Service: 5
