On the handful if times I've been here, it's been fairly standard quality, but this last time was far below par. The crab rangoon and potstickers were good as usual, but the cashew chicken was almost wholly inedible. There was almost no rice in the dinner for one - okay, sure, whatever. But the chicken itself was honestly disgusting. Sorry to say that but it's true. The sauce tasted off (like chemicals, and another flavor I can't place and don't really want to because it was so gross). The chicken herself was...well, I can't say for sure that it actually was chicken because I've never had chicken that looks or tastes like that. I ordered all white meat, and colorwise it looks halfway between white and dark meat. ? Weird. And it was tough, except the edges which were grisley and rubbery/gooey. I found maybe 2-3 small edible pieces after I cut off the grossest parts - don't judge me for trying, I live out of town and was starving and haven't picked up groceries yet so it was either this or my dog's food and cottage cheese that's 3 days expired. I'm sitting here feeding the leftovers (almost the entire dinner special) to my dogs. They seem to enjoy it. But if you've ever seen how dog kibble is made, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Sorry, Hong Kong Inn, but this was unacceptable for human consumption. Reviews almost always either reflect the best or the worst of your customer's experiences, and this one will likely be simply the last for this one. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
