It's easy to find this restaurant due to the convenient location. To order perfectly cooked fish & chips, scallops and calamari is a really good idea. But Hooked on Bellerive has been rated below average by Google.

We have had both the flathead and flake options at Hooked on Bellerive and they are both very tasty. The chips are quite enjoyable too, although I must admit that the portion size seems a bit excessive. The accompanying salad was delicious. The service provided by the gentleman attending to us was exceptionally generous, as he went above and beyond by adding extra seafood and condiments to our order. I went to this business last weekend for a coffee and a biscuit. After placing my order and waiting for my coffee, a couple came along and ordered their coffees. The person serving, whom I believe to be the owner, then proceeded to make some coffees, and upon seeing him finish, I started to walk forward naturally expecting the next one made to be mine. The person handed two coffees to the couple who came after me and then when he made mine I remarked that I had come before them. There was no apology, or even an acknowledgement of this, just an ill-fitting lid on my coffee cup and a coffee so hot that it burned my mouth. I have been served by more attentive people at this business in the past, so would hazard a guess that this person runs the place rather than serves the customers. Business owners need to realise that it is their service which differentiates them from the pack. If this is the example this person wants to set for his employees, then I recommend leaving them to it and remaining back of house in future. If not for them, then for the sake of your business.

Thank you for a beautiful meal on Friday to me the menu is very smart by having the prices all the same ,salad was so healthy and didn't skimp on the servings I was so impressed very intelligent menu and service with a smile .keeping it simple but fantastic meals is soso smart the name is certainly what it is Hooked I am ,thank you .love the way no table settings on the table too love it .
