We love Hooky Wooky bar! Can’t recommend it highly enough. We visit every time we are in Tokyo. It is one of our favourite places to go. We stumbled across it accidentally one night when staying in Koenji looking for an after dinner drink. The exterior looked so cool - we decided to check it out, glad we did! Not only has it got a cosy atmosphere and delicious reasonably priced drinks, the staff and locals were so kind and welcoming. Some of our favourite nights in Koenji were spent tucked in a cosy corner of the bar chatting, drinking and listening to great tunes. Our Japanese language skills are pretty much non-existent, however it wasn’t an issue at all the staff have excellent English, and we used phones to translate anything we got stuck on. Looking forward to visiting again on our next trip. Go if you can. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
