My husband and I were trying to find somewhere to stop with our dogs after being in the car for 6 hours and I chose Hop Brothers Brewing based on their menu items and reviews. I had checked their Facebook page to see if they had anything on there about their patio or specials, and there wasn't anything posted, just the last post about the dog friendly patio. We ordered take-out since we were wanting to get back on the road quickly but thought maybe we'd have a drink on the patio with our dogs before hopping back in the car for our last 2.5 hours. Our food was ready when we arrived and when I asked if we could get a seat outside, the hostess, who was very kind and polite, said the patio where dogs were allowed was actually closed. She didn't give a reason but I assumed it was because of the heat or possible storm warnings, even though there were people in the covered area with it open to the uncovered area. We ended up eating our meals on the big rocks outside by our vehicle. We were really disappointed since we could have chosen a different establishment to stop at before picking Hop Brothers, which is why the rating is low. The food was actually delicious. My husband ordered the double smash cheeseburger and said it was a really good burger (which he rarely says). I had the garlic Gouda burger but with a chicken breast with truffle fries and they both were so good. If there's a next time, we'll call ahead to make sure the patio is open.

Great lunch after a long day at the baseball field. The owner went above and beyond after my son flipped his basket of wings onto the floor.
