What an outstanding craft beer bar. As a lifelong and professional attendee of craft beer bars, Hop Inn absolutely stands out. Open from 6 PM to 1 AM, it’s the perfect place to unwind and explore a carefully curated lineup of global craft beers. As a fan of West Coast IPAs, I was delighted, and even more impressed by the surprise of finding not just global selections, but also exceptional local microbrews from right here in Taiwan. The freshness and quality were remarkable. Josh (Aya) is a superb host - a Taiwanese native with a global palate and an ear for music to match. Together with his long-time partner, he’s created a bar with a chill, local energy, powered by a high-fidelity sound system and an expertly chosen playlist that sets the perfect tone. If you’re not sure this is your spot, this is also your spot. If you’re a tourist, this will feel like your second home. If you’re local, I’m envious, because your first home is absolutely incredible. What are you looking for? If trying out the most delicious beers isn’t your thing, then this isn’t your thing. But if you’re after a kick-ass night with great music, good vibes, excellent drinks, affordable prices, and amazing bartenders, this is your place. Do it. I’ll see you there soon.
