We had a reservation here on Father's Day. They had run out of scampi and the fish and chips was overcooked. Two cubicles in the Ladies but only one with a light. Service OK but won't be going there again.

Poor service waited 1 hour and a half for food. Expensive for pub gub. Staff need training in how to deal with the public. Won't be going back on a hurry.

We popped into the Hope Inn today, 8th August, for a coffee and my husband had a diabetic low (hypo). The care and kindness that we were shown by two of the staff, Mary and Finlay, was above and beyond what you would usually get anywhere else. We were so impressed with these two young people. We would definitely recommend this pub and will be going back very soon.
