I honestly can't think of a better downtown restaurant as far as value / food quality. Spent $25 to get 3+lb of noodles, stir fry rice, roast chicken, deepfried pork/fish. The owners encourage you to get your money's worth and stuff whatever container to the brim. And it's high quality stuff. Puts everything in the vicinity to shame on a per dollar basis. And the owners themselves will serve you with grace/respect/great vibes. This is the kinda business worth patronizing in my opinion. Local support local. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20

Tonight I brought my mom and aunt to the Hope Key restaurant. My mom and aunt had a daily special and I ordered a combination plate; our food was absolutely delicious! The vegetables were cooked but still crispy. The prawns were delicious and cooked in a light tempura batter. Everything was delicious, but the best part of the day was the two owners who provided great service and were so friendly and kind to us visitors from out of town. The next time I’m in Victoria I will be coming in to eat again!! Thank you both for your kindness and a memorable evening :). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $20–30
