I was visiting Toronto for the first time. My friends and family asked me to choose a good place for lunch as it was some kind of festival that day. I'm greek from Greece so the pressure was high. As soon as I layed eyes on the dishes served around and the food being sold on the street I was convinced it would be an authentic place. Horio did not disappoint. horiatiki's tomatoes were hand picked. Saganaki. We ordered baked potatoes , dolmades, grilled octopus and calamari. Horiatiki, 2 beers and three dips/spreads. Tzatziki melitzanosalata & and humus all 5/5 super authentic - the only thing I would recommend to look again are the sizes of the portions of the spreads, needs to be slightly more generous. Attentive staff. Lovely lady from Brazil served us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Horio is new to Greek town and has some amazing dishes with great flavours all around. The staff work as a team to make sure that all tables are handled and ensuring customers have everything they need. The owner/manager came to our table to tell us her story and philosophy behind the opening of the restaurant. Her mother is the main chef that creates all the dishes. Everything is made in house and is delicious, highly recommend the spanakotiropita and the saganaki both were amazing. As well the Ultimate Meze Platter For 4 has more than enough food for a family to eat dinner and bring some home for lunch tomorrow. 10/10 all around. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available in the restaurant Dietary restrictions: We had one of my group who had a few allergies that we needed to worry about. The waitress and the owner both came over to make sure we were told what he could eat and not.

Thank you so much, Hannson! It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing a little bit of our story with you. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review, and we're so happy you enjoyed the food and your experience with our team. It means a lot to us, especially as a new restaurant. We hope to see you and your family back at Horio soon!
