I would give Hostaria Antica Roma 6 stars if I could! This place is truly a hidden gem in Rome. When you first arrive, surrounded by trees and wondering where exactly you're heading, you have no idea what you're about to discover. But once you get there, the reward feels like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You can tell the food is prepared with love, passion, and respect for tradition. The service is absolutely first-class, and I experienced combinations of flavors that I had honestly never tasted before. Every dish felt like more than just a meal, it was an experience. Without a doubt, one of the best places we've eaten during our vacation in Italy. Hostaria Antica Roma is one of those places you almost don't want to tell everyone about… because part of its magic is discovering it for yourself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The most amazing experience! My family and I were biking along Via Appia for the day and stopped for lunch here. The owner, whose family has run the restaurant for 35+ years, greeted us and talked with us about local history, food and more. The food was authentic, delicious and among the best we’ve ever had. The service was exceptional and the setting was one of a kind, tucked away from the street and among beautiful gardens. Highly recommend!
