Came here as my daughter was playing at the nearby splash pad and I googled close by restaurants. She had been asking for pancakes for two days so we came here. We ordered her pancakes and she enjoyed them until my wife's lunch ch arrived and she took and ate half her wrap. My wife said the minestrone was on point as well and the pork souvlaki on a bun brought me back to old school toronto places I grew up. A must try if you are in the area Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I'm a regular at HS and I love the family style restaurant, the food is fresh and fantastic (beats any other all day breakfast hands down), service is always with a smile even on the most busy days. To the reviewer Lexi Balkaran aka "Karen" The washed and clean sticker that you found on your plate (which I've actually missed even at home with no one to comp my meal which I'm sure HS did even though you stated they didn't offer to comp your meal?) Hot Stacks, I and many others LOVE your family friendly service and food. Keep up your great restaurant and all the "Karens" keep out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to Hot Stacks for breakfast. The booths were all full so we were seated at a table. Service was fast, the server was friendly and professional. I ordered scrambled eggs, sausages, and home fries. The eggs were perfect, fluffy, and a good portion. Sausages were great too. The home fries were okay, some were a little soft (I like the crispy ones). Coffee refills were plentiful and quick. Overall, great experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back one day. Thank you to Hot Stacks Family Restaurant.
