I recently visited Hot chocolate coffee shop and had a mixed experience. After settling in and enjoying the atmosphere, I decided to order an Affogato, looking forward to the classic combination of espresso and vanilla ice cream. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that they were out of vanilla ice cream and would be substituting it with chocolate ice cream instead. While I appreciate the effort to accommodate, I was disappointed since the traditional Affogato is quite different with chocolate. Ultimately, I decided to switch my order to two scoops of ice cream instead. The chocolate ice cream was rich and creamy, but I couldn't help but feel that the experience fell short of my expectations. ### Overall Impression While the staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating, the lack of stock on a key item was a letdown.
