Hotakaya is a fried manju shop that opened about 1km in front of Hiraide Dam. I ate the fried manju parfait that I often saw on TV shows. I know from Uenomura's soft serve ice cream that miso and soft serve go well together, so this was definitely delicious. The steamed buns are hot, so be careful in midsummer as the soft serve will melt quickly.
