Hotel Basel is a cozy hotel located in the heart of the old town. Up a short cobblestoned street from Marketplatz, it is surrounded by quaint shops and small, very good restaurants. The staff are friendly and warm, the rooms are impeccably clean, and it feels almost like home for those week-long trips away on business. One of my go-to hotels in Basel.
