I spent one evening at Hotel Central in Zagreb. We arrived around 10.30 at night in the rain, and the hotel was a 2 minute walk across the street. Great location next to the main train station. The main bus station is also less than 10 minutes. I did not stay in Zagreb, it was just a stopover for the evening. By booking directly with the hotel I got a great rate for 2 rooms, with breakfast included. If my plan were to stay and visit Zagreb, I may have chosen somewhere closer to the city center, but for my needs the hotel was perfect: great location, comfortable bed, great shower and good breakfast. Nearby activities: Train Station, Bus Station Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Unfortunately, the photos from booking do not reflect reality. The hotel stopped about 40 years ago. The room was small and stuffy. The walls are cracked and there is fungus in the shower. I recommend paying a few extra euros and looking for happiness elsewhere. Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 4
