My review is only regarding the restaurant and bar area outside. A nice cozy area in the center of town, which always seems to be blessed with sunshine, even up to the last before sunset. The food was very good, but prepare for a long wait, even if youre only ordering a drink and dont expect service with a smile. Nobody seems to smile here Service: 2

Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options. Service: 3

I only give four stars, because we are a little ge country. Received a wonderful welcome and the room is just really old with crooked floors and furniture in just the right way and style. Ribe has a special atmosphere about it. This is the second time we have been here and the first time at Hotel Dagmar. We are looking forward to the next few days Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4
