This place used to be so good and food was delicious not now the food was horrible and the price was so ridiculous won't be going back or letting friends and family go there I thought it was so over priced Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and went expecting a pub experience, but got a restaurant. The SERVICE whilst friendly and attentive was below par, the waiter was unable to answer our questions about the food and drink. We ordered chips as they were not included with our fish meal on the menu, but when the food arrived so did 2 servings of chips. The waiter should have indicated that they were included in our meal but didn't. We could have saved $12 if he had. Very ordinary. The FOOD was ok, but far too expensive for what was basically a fish and chip meal. We paid $113 dollars inc 2 wines, which included a $15 public holiday surcharge. The ambience was ok. I will not be recommending your venue to anyone, in fact we will be steering people to other venues. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We visited with my mum on Good Friday. We were seated on the veranda. Our waitress, Tania, was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed beautiful meals in a beautiful venue. McLaren Vale Hotel never lets us down! Thank you!! Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
