I recently stayed at Hotel Miramare with my partner, her sister, and her mother. The hotel is nicely located, close to the centre and not too far from the marina and beaches. The rooms were basic but clean. Our room lacked a fridge and was small, while the other room was slightly larger and equipped with a fridge. Breakfast was very simple; the bread was not very fresh, though the croissants were excellent. Coffee was provided through a self-serve Nescafe machine, which is not what one would expect in an Italian hotel. Additionally, breakfast items were cleared away promptly at the appointed time without checking if guests needed anything further. Walking through the open areas and up and down the stairs felt like walking through an ancient stone building, adding a unique and charming element to our stay. The young girl at reception was friendly and helpful. Although my partner’s mother is wheelchair-bound, and the hotel had informed us they were not equipped for disabled guests, access to the rooms via the lift presented no problem. It is worth noting that the hotel is situated midway on a steep hill between the centre and the seafront, which might be a consideration for some guests. This did not affect us, as we had our own transport and were expecting it. Overall, Hotel Miramare offers a convenient location and clean accommodation, with some areas for improvement, particularly in breakfast service and amenities. Service: 3
