During my recent stay at the Post-Plaza Hotel & Grand Café's Gratama Suite, I had a mixed experience. Although the suite itself was luxurious and comfortable, my stay was unfortunately overshadowed by service issues. Upon arrival I was kindly helped by Eva, the Assistant Front Office Manager. We discussed and confirmed a late checkout for my departure day, which I really appreciated given my busy schedule. However, at the last minute I was informed that late check-out was no longer possible. This caused a lot of stress and discomfort as I had planned my plans accordingly. The lack of flexibility and the way this was communicated was disappointing. Despite repeated attempts to find a solution, all I was told was that nothing could be done for me and that I should just accept it. This experience left a bitter taste and negatively affected my overall impression of the hotel. The Gratama Suite itself was beautiful and well equipped, and the Grand Café provided an excellent culinary experience. However, the final verdict of a hotel stay is very much determined by the service, and in this case it was unfortunately lacking. Considering the luxurious appearance and price of the hotel, I expected a higher level of customer service and communication. I hope that the management of Post-Plaza Hotel & Grand Café will take steps to prevent such situations in the future so that guests can have a consistent and positive experience. All in all, although the hotel impresses in many areas, the service still leaves much to be desired. Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 4
