Chafariz do Rosario is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Among the drinks, there is delicious cortado. The great location of Hotel Pousada do Arcanjo makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The attentive staff at this place can show how much they like their customers. The good service is something these restaurateurs care about. The peaceful ambiance might make you want to stay here for a bit longer than you've initially planned. A fabulous hotel pousada in every respect. From the warm welcome to friendly send off, my dear friend and I were looked after like royalty. The rooms were superb, so comfortable and in a colonial style with stunning views to the hillsides. The restaurant was so good that we decided to "eat in" with varied menus, beautifully prepared food at reasonable prices. The waiting staff were our first guides to Ouro Preto and so proud to give advice on what to seem how to get there and so on. Afternoon tea was served too and breakfast was a great start to the day. A wonderful location. Walking to the main places of interest was easy and very pleasant despite the occasional steep hills but we were warned of this before visiting. The national flag of international guests was flown from the time of arrival - what a lovely touch! Nothing was overlooked. If you are looking for the finest hospitality at reasonable prices, then look no further than Hotel Pousada do Arcanjo. A credit to Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais .....and Brazil! Service: 5

We had an amazing experience, well beyond our expectations! Extremely friendly, professional and helpful staff, wonderful complimentary breakfast, excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices and José Benício, the best concierge ever! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They offer free transfer to the historic downtown, but the hotel is walking distance from all the main attractions. In the afternoon there is a complimentary afternoon tea served with sweets and cake served in front of the fireplace. Service: 5
