“Jarnac” This gentleman chose the name of his town well. Supposedly a hotel, it is not, it is a semblance of a lodge. It is July 1, 2023, upon arriving at the place we discover a dilapidated gate, on the left a ruined building, a swimming pool without water, an abandoned garden. In the car we are already wondering... The owner comes to meet us, he informs us that he cannot receive us, he supposedly no longer has electricity. The reservation was made 8 days ago, at no time did the owner inform us of the situation! Forced to find emergency accommodation, a shame! A behavior to avoid! The worst part is that he's still taking reservations! What a lack of respect for its customers! Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

What a wonderful peaceful place!!! Like visiting your grandparents during the holidays. Very, very nice owners, incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was great even though the kitchen was already closed. Rarely have I remembered a hotel so positively. If I ever end up in this corner of France again, I'll do it again straight away. I hope the owners and the chickens are well. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
