The experience was HORRIBLE!!!! Honestly, it had been a long time since I had slept in a hotel like this... DIRTY, but really DIRTY. An unbelievable smell of damp. Seriously... don't go to this hotel. On top of that, they didn't tell us that breakfast wasn't included and then they charged us an arm and a leg for it. Worst of all, there were ants in my breakfast. But it wasn't just my plate; my friends' plates had ants too. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Rooms not clean with a kind of smell. Dirty. Tv not functioning. Shower head broken. The worst part, very dirty toilet. I would never suggest this place to stay.

Dear JMR Muthu, If the room is not upto standard you dont need to force yourself to stay in that room. You need to advise the reception or duty manager to change your room. Placing a review will not change your room MD

Hotel Sunray, Kandy – Great Stay and Excellent Service Our stay at Hotel Sunray in Kandy was fantastic. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, making for a relaxing stay. The manager was especially helpful in arranging our travel plans, which made exploring Kandy much easier. Though we didn’t have time to use the pool, it looked like a great place to unwind. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short distance from the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and other key attractions. Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely recommend it to other travelers!
